Role: Data Analyst 4 (Power BI Dashboard Developer)
Location: 100% Remote
Rate: $50/hr. C2C and $40/hr. on W2

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to design and deliver an interactive dashboard solution by transforming BugTrack Excel data into meaningful business insights.

This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive engagement, requiring someone who can quickly understand business requirements and deliver production-ready dashboards for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and translate business requirements into dashboard solutions
  • Analyze and validate BugTrack Excel datasets
  • Build scalable Power BI data models (handling large datasets)
  • Develop dashboards covering:
    • Ticket volume (opened vs closed)
    • Aging analysis
    • Ticket categories, types, and priorities
    • Facility-level insights
    • AVATAR and EPMO metrics
  • Implement:
    • Filters, drill-downs, and role-based views
    • Automated data refresh processes
    • Data quality checks and validation rules
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and operational teams
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Train internal SMEs for ongoing dashboard maintenance

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (Dashboard + Data Modeling)
  • Expertise in:
    • Data transformation (Power Query / ETL)
    • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
  • Experience working with Excel-based data sources
  • Ability to build interactive dashboards with drill-down capabilities
  • Experience with data validation and quality checks
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience delivering leadership-level dashboards

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ticketing systems / issue tracking data
  • Exposure to healthcare or government projects
  • Experience with large datasets and performance optimization
  • Knowledge of role-based security in Power BI
