D365 Software Architect (Finance)

Description

We are looking for an experienced D365 Software Architect with expertise in finance systems to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will lead the architecture and design of financial platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position is remote, providing flexibility while delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support billing and invoicing processes.
Oversee the technical governance of finance systems to ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the D365 platform within existing enterprise systems.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the finance platform to meet business requirements.
Provide expert guidance on invoice data management and billing workflows.
Develop technical documentation and architectural diagrams for stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality and data integrity.
Lead workshops and discussions to gather requirements and propose tailored solutions.
Stay updated on emerging trends in enterprise architecture and D365 technologies.
Support the full lifecycle of the platform integration, from planning to execution.

Requirements

Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly in billing and invoicing.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and best practices.
Expertise in managing invoice data workflows and financial system integrations.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 platform capabilities and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to create detailed documentation and technical diagrams.
Prior experience in long-term contract roles is a plus.
