Summary: The D365 Senior Developer role focuses on leading the development of custom journal processing extensions within D365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong X++ skills and a comprehensive understanding of D365 Finance in high-volume environments. This position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the UK. The contract duration is 12 months and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of custom journal processing extensions in D365 Finance & Operations.
- Utilize X++, data entities, and extensions for D365 F&O development.
- Manage general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
- Employ Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines effectively.
- Create, configure, and export reports using Power BI.
- Implement workflows, security roles, SSRS, and unit testing (SysTest).
- Handle DMF, OData, batch processing, and error management.
- Optimize performance for high-volume transactions.
- Document processes and collaborate with team members.
- Integrate across systems and platforms as needed.
Key Skills:
- Strong X++ programming skills.
- Deep understanding of D365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience with general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
