Summary: The D365 Senior Developer role focuses on leading the development of custom journal processing extensions within D365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong X++ skills and extensive experience in high-volume, cross-functional environments. This position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the UK. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of custom journal processing extensions in D365 Finance & Operations.
- Utilize strong X++ skills and deep understanding of D365 Finance.
- Work with general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
- Manage development using Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Create and configure reports in Power BI.
- Implement workflows, security roles, SSRS, and unit testing (SysTest).
- Handle DMF, OData, batch processing, and error handling.
- Optimize performance for high-volume transactions.
- Document processes and collaborate effectively with team members.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in D365 Finance & Operations development (X++, data entities, extensions).
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
- Proficiency in Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Power BI report creation, configuration, and export.
- Skilled in workflows, security roles, SSRS, and unit testing (SysTest).
- Familiarity with DMF, OData, batch processing, and error handling.
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
