Summary: The D365 Senior Developer role focuses on leading the development of custom journal processing extensions within D365 Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong X++ skills and a comprehensive understanding of D365 Finance in high-volume environments. This position is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the UK. The contract duration is 12 months, and the role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of custom journal processing extensions in D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Utilize X++ for development tasks, including data entities and extensions.
  • Manage general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Create and configure reports in Power BI, including export functionalities.
  • Develop workflows, security roles, and conduct unit testing (SysTest).
  • Handle DMF, OData, batch processing, and error management.
  • Optimize performance for high-volume transactions.
  • Document processes and collaborate effectively with team members.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in D365 F&O development, particularly with X++.
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, LCS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of general ledger, journals, financial dimensions, and intercompany transactions.
  • Skilled in Power BI report creation and configuration.
