Summary: The D365 QA Engineer role involves owning the testing activities for a specific delivery within a London-based client, focusing on both manual exploratory testing and automated test creation using JavaScript and Cypress. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to manual & automation-based QA activities across multiple complex software projects using test automation approaches, tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress or Selenium) & methodologies.
- Define & manage core QA activities such as Test Phases, System Test, SIT, with support for UAT and Production.
- Analyse key project documentation & requirements (e.g. User Stories, Acceptance Criteria & Functional / Technical documentation) & to define robust testing strategies as an output.
- Define & execute detailed Test Conditions and Test Cases to support QA cycles.
- Be responsible for raising, triaging, maintaining, and retesting bugs.
- Report on QA progress as necessary to the Project Manager.
- Be responsible for integration testing across multiple connected systems.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests in JavaScript using Cypress.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including exploratory and risk-based testing.
- Azure DevOps Test Plan for managing & planning QA activities.
- Dynamics 365 testing experience.

- ISTQB certification is desirable.

As D365 QA Engineer you will own the testing activity for a defined piece of delivery, designing test cases, automating regression coverage in JavaScript and Cypress . This is a hands-on role for someone who can hit the ground running, switch comfortably between manual exploratory testing and writing maintainable automated tests, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
