D365 & Power Platform Functional Consultant

Summary: A well-established Microsoft partner and consultancy is seeking Senior Functional Consultants for a 3-month contract to support customers in their digital transformation journey. The role primarily involves remote work with occasional client travel. The consultant will lead stakeholder engagement and provide functional leadership in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead stakeholder engagement to elicit requirements, analyse business processes, and develop solution roadmaps aligned to organisational strategy
• Provide functional leadership across the design, architecture, and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable, and pragmatic solution designs
• Facilitate workshops, solution demonstrations, and user acceptance testing to drive successful adoption
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams from initiation through to implementation, ensuring effective communication and governance
• Mentor consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery standards and methodologies
• Ensure solutions fully leverage the broader Microsoft ecosystem to maximise business value

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing delivery roles
• 3-5 years hands-on experience delivering Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions (including Dataverse and Azure integrations)
• Deep understanding of Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing
• Strong stakeholder engagement background including requirements definition, high-level solution design and functional architecture
• Ability to assess requirements vs. standard product capabilities and recommend optimal configuration/extension approaches
