Summary: The D365 Functional Solutions Architect - F&O is responsible for leading the implementation and optimization of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role requires a strategic and technical lead to ensure alignment between business operations and financial processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive D365 F&O expertise and experience in enterprise architecture and implementation leadership. The position is remote and involves collaboration with executive stakeholders and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Define overall ERP solution strategy across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Operations, Reporting & Analytics, Security & Compliance, and Data Governance
- Partner with executive stakeholders and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ERP solutions
- Own ERP governance framework including release management, environment strategy, Lifecycle Services (LCS), deployment standards, and change control
- Define and oversee RICEW objects including Reports, Integrations, Customizations, Extensions, and Workflows
- Design integrations between D365 F&O and Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party platforms
- Lead data migration strategy, validation, and governance
- Oversee security architecture, role design, and segregation of duties
- Guide testing strategy, UAT readiness, and production deployment planning
- Mentor developers, consultants, and implementation resources
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience
- 5+ years specifically with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation
- Strong expertise in ERP architecture, integrations, data migration, and governance
- Experience with Azure services, Power Platform, DevOps, and Lifecycle Services (LCS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience
