Summary: The role of D365 F&O Technical Architect involves leading technical design and delivery for large-scale implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, particularly in the banking sector. The position requires deep expertise in D365 F&O, Azure, and Power BI, with a focus on hands-on technical skills and integration capabilities. The role is remote but requires candidates to be based in the UK. This is a contract position for a duration of 6 months, classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design and delivery for D365 F&O implementations.
- Utilize Life Cycle Services and Azure DevOps for project management.
- Develop integrations using X, .NET, C#, REST/SOAP.
- Implement Data Management Framework and manage data migrations.
- Integrate Power BI and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with banking sector requirements.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect on D365 F&O implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O, Life Cycle Services, and Azure DevOps.
- Skilled in X, .NET, C#, and building integrations using REST/SOAP.
- Solid understanding of DIXF, Azure Data Factory, and integration patterns.
- Practical experience with the Data Management Framework.
- Experience integrating Power BI and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (nice to have).
- Experience within Financial Services/Banking (nice to have).
- Immediate availability (nice to have).

My client is an instantly recognisable consultancy who are seeking a Senior Technical Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) to lead technical design and delivery across large-scale implementations, particularly within the banking sector.Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect working on D365 F&O implementations
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 F&O, Life Cycle Services, and Azure DevOps (source control, gated check-ins, pipelines).
- Skilled in X, .NET, C#, and building integrations using REST/SOAP.
- Solid understanding of DIXF, Azure Data Factory, and integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, oData).
- Practical experience with the Data Management Framework (BYOD, recurring jobs, migrations).
- Experience integrating Power BI (embedded and external) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps
Nice to Have:
