D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect

Summary: We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect to lead architecture, development, and performance optimization initiatives across enterprise implementations in regulated healthcare environments. The role emphasizes designing scalable and compliant ERP solutions for Finance and Supply Chain Management while ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in D365 F&O and a strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies. This position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to support multi-region deployments across the USA and India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and development of D365 F&O customizations, extensions, and enhancements using X++, Power Platform, and extensibility frameworks
• Define scalable data models and system architecture for enterprise ERP solutions
• Design security architecture including roles, segregation of duties (SoD), encryption, and compliance controls
• Oversee DevOps processes using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, build automation, testing, and deployment strategies across environments
• Ensure release quality and environment governance
• Design and troubleshoot integrations using OData, custom services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and batch processing frameworks
• Conduct performance tuning for high-volume transactional workloads (AR/AP, procurement, claims processing)
• Perform code reviews and fit-gap analysis
• Lead data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF)
• Ensure data quality across master and transactional datasets
• Optimize SQL queries and system performance
• Work closely with functional teams, offshore teams, and business stakeholders
• Support PoCs, implementation, and hypercare activities
• Lead pre-sales activities including solutioning, demos, technical proposals, and effort estimation
• Mentor developers and enforce Microsoft best practices

Key Skills:

• 8-12 years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years in D365 F&O / AX development
• 3+ years as Technical Architect or Senior Developer
• Experience delivering 3+ full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations
• Experience in multi-country deployments (USA & India)
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum and distributed team environments

• Understanding of HIPAA-adjacent financial compliance requirements
• Strong ownership and accountability for technical delivery
