Summary: The D365 F&SCM Functional Consultant role involves evaluating business processes and preparing detailed requirements for clients, particularly focusing on D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. The consultant will configure, test, and demonstrate software solutions while managing small projects and leading other consultants to meet client expectations. This position requires strong ERP experience, particularly with D365FSCM and AX 2012, and involves regular travel for client engagements. The role is remote with occasional travel and is expected to start ASAP for a duration of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps.
- Analyze client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients' requirements and objectives.
- Convert customer requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents.
- Configure, test, and demonstrate all aspects and processes within D365 Finance.
- Configure, test, and demonstrate non-stocked aspects and processes of D365 SCM.
- Participate in handling System Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, End User Training, UAT, Cutover, and Go Live.
- Participate in the definition and configuration of data migration for the respective modules.
- Develop functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans.
- Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during iterations.
- Design and develop D365 FSCM solutions for clients using standard functionality.
- Work closely with clients and team members to align business applications with business requirements.
- Manage and deliver small projects independently.
- Lead other consultants in delivering according to client expectations.
- Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients.
- Own project deliverables and provide weekly status reporting to Solution Architect, Technical Architect, and Project Management.
Key Skills:
- Solid ERP experience, preferably with D365FSCM and AX 2012.
- Experience in Non-Stock Procurement, Services, Catalogues.
- Experience in key Finance module areas such as General Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Cash and Bank, Tax, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project Management & Accounting.
- Experience on at least 3-4 end-to-end implementation projects.
- Excellent communication, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Positive and can-do approach.

Qualifications
- MBA /M. Com/ B. Com / B.Tech / B.E or any other equivalent graduation from a reputed university.
