Summary: The D365 F&O Functional Consultant for the Finance & Procurement Stream is a contract role focused on leading the implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for a global manufacturing client. The consultant will be responsible for conducting workshops, configuring modules, and supporting testing and training efforts. This position requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to translate business needs into system functionality. The role is delivery-focused and ideal for candidates with experience in finance and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead FIT-GAP workshops with finance and procurement teams across UK and EU entities
- Configure core modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Sourcing
- Support testing cycles (UAT, SIT), write test scripts, and manage defect resolution
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and reporting requirements
- Provide post-go-live support and training to end users
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and internal controls
Key Skills:
- 5+ years in D365 F&O (or AX 2012) with strong functional knowledge of finance and procurement
- Experience working on multi-country rollouts and localisations
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work independently and manage deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments is a plus
