Summary: We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant with a focus on Finance modules to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting D365 Finance solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance financial processes. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in finance-related implementations and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Immediate start is required for this contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance and accounting processes.
- Configure and implement D365 Finance modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash & Bank Management
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Expense Management
- Cost Accounting
- Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and propose best practice solutions.
- Work closely with technical consultants/developers for customizations, integrations, and data migration.
- Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle including:
- Requirement Gathering
- Solution Design
- UAT Support
- Training
- Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support
- Create functional design documents (FDD), process flow diagrams, and user manuals.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving finance-related system issues.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a D365 F&O Functional Consultant or Dynamics AX / D365 Finance Consultant.
- Strong expertise in Finance modules within D365 F&O.
- Experience in at least 1-2 full-cycle D365 implementation projects.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation processes.
- Experience with integrations using APIs, Power Platform, or third-party tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Data Management Framework (DMF) and data migration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance are preferred.
