Summary: The Cybersecurity Specialist role involves leading OT asset discovery and security improvements across manufacturing facilities, focusing on Process Control Network (PCN) and Operations Management Network (OMN) security. The position requires deploying intrusion detection tools and establishing network segmentation aligned with the Purdue model. The specialist will work closely with plant engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure safe deployment practices and maintain security posture. This is a remote position based in the USA, specifically for locations in Springfiend, GA, or Wilmington, DE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and create detailed inventories of devices on the PCN and OMN.
- Analyze OT network topology, identify IT OT integration points, and assess the facility OT security posture.
- Define and implement the Purdue model for each facility aligned to PERA guidance.
- Deploy, configure, and integrate OT integrity/intrusion detection solutions across multiple sites while ensuring zero disruption to critical systems.
- Validate sensor placement, tuning, and mapping of assets and flows.
- Ensure firewall policies and network controls are functioning and up to date.
- Verify back-end data visibility for corporate security teams.
- Work with plant engineers and OT teams to develop and maintain safe deployment practices, rollback plans, and test procedures.
- Develop content and training for the Cyber Champion network to propagate OT security best practices.
- Produce clear technical documentation, deployment guides, and post-deployment reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage site timelines and escalations.
Key Skills:
- OT Security and OT Asset Management experience (industrial control systems, PLCs, SCADA).
- Hands-on experience with OT intrusion detection/cyber integrity solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT OT integration, OT protocols, and industrial networking.
