Cybersecurity Specialist | Remote

Summary: The Cybersecurity Specialist role involves analyzing and reviewing content for security vulnerabilities and threat patterns while crafting and solving complex cybersecurity problems. The position requires collaboration with a team of experts in systems programming and cybersecurity to enhance model reasoning around security threats. This is a remote, hourly contract position lasting approximately two months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review content for security vulnerabilities and threat patterns.
• Craft, solve, and review complex cybersecurity problems with real-world applicability.
• Support improvement of model reasoning around security threats and attack vectors.
• Work asynchronously with a team of domain experts in systems programming and cybersecurity.
• Contribute to classification and evaluation workflows related to security research.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in low-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Java.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity concepts including web security and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability classification frameworks such as OWASP or CVEs.
• Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
