Cybersecurity Consultant

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for client engagements
• Support cyber risk, security, governance, and compliance initiatives
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• Develop reports, presentations, and deliverables for both technical and executive audiences
• Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, tabletop exercises, and incident response planning activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality consulting engagements
• Support proposal development, statements of work, and practice operations
• Contribute to the growth and advancement of cybersecurity service offerings
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through trusted advisory support

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPM, or CIPP are strongly preferred
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, or advisory consulting, Big 4 or equivalent
• Experience supporting cybersecurity assessments, risk management initiatives, or security consulting engagements
• Experience with technology due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, or private equity environments is a plus
• Experience with incident response readiness, vendor risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CMMC, and CIS Controls
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
• Ability to travel occasionally (approximately 5%)
