Summary: As a Cyber Support Technician, you will be integral to enhancing organizational security by implementing and managing cyber security strategies. Reporting to the Group Head of IT Security, your role involves collaboration with senior leaders to align business and cyber strategies while maintaining robust internal controls. Key tasks include managing security applications, conducting penetration tests, and addressing security incidents. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding and mitigating cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage security applications and perform penetration tests.
- Operate vulnerability scanning processes and conduct risk assessments.
- Address security incidents and maintain a current understanding of malware and cyber threats.
- Create and execute technical test cases and produce comprehensive reports on system quality and vulnerabilities.
- Offer specialist advice and track remediation activities to conclusion.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., Delinea or CyberArk).
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory.
- Experience in PowerShell scripting.
- Background in Financial Services (desirable).
- Ability to design and execute penetration tests and analyze test results.
- Experience in creating test scripts, materials, and test packs.
