Summary: The Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Specialist will be responsible for managing security contracts and ensuring compliance with ISO27001 standards. This role requires active SC clearance and involves collaboration with customers and internal teams to maintain security and manage risks effectively. The specialist will also coach junior team members and handle various security-related tasks, including incident management and vulnerability checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of major customer security contracts.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with customers and internal teams.
- Track contract security obligations and keep risks under control.
- Manage IT Health Checks and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Own and drive ISO27001 security compliance.
- Handle vulnerability, risk, and security incident management.
- Coach junior team members and enhance overall team performance.
Key Skills:
- Current SC Clearance (non-negotiable).
- Solid background in Security Information Assurance.
- Hands-on experience running an ISMS to ISO27001 standards.
- Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
