Summary: The Cyber Project Manager role involves leading and delivering critical cybersecurity initiatives for a major global business. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regulatory frameworks and will report directly to the global CISO. This position is remote and is offered as a 3-month contract, classified as outside IR35. The role requires a strong background in cybersecurity project management and technical expertise in cloud platforms and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects — from scoping to post-implementation review
- Collaborate with InfoSec, IT, legal, and business stakeholders to define requirements and success metrics
- Manage project plans, risks, budgets, and communications across multiple workstreams
- Ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Track progress, resolve blockers, and report on KPIs to senior leadership
- Champion a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management
Key Skills:
- 3–6 years of experience in platform, DevOps or infrastructure engineering
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with container orchestration and service mesh technologies
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go) and a knack for automation
- A systems mindset — you think in terms of scale, resilience, and developer experience
- Bonus: Experience with platform product thinking or building internal developer portals
