Summary: The Customer & HR Data Analyst role focuses on bridging the gap between raw HR and customer data and business decision-making, emphasizing data interpretation and clarity. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to derive actionable insights from various data sources, including Workday and customer data platforms. The analyst will also provide guidance on data usage and ensure data readiness and accuracy. This is a remote position requiring strong expertise in HR and customer data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate HR and customer data into actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from Workday HR system, Customer Central, Customer Data Warehouse, and Toyota Big Data Platform.
  • Metadata Discovery & Data Readiness: Validate intake requests for new data, refine business definitions and descriptions, and ensure data completeness and accuracy.
  • Business Context: Provide clear explanations for data elements, hierarchies, and relationships across multiple systems.
  • Subject-Matter Advisor: Guide teams in understanding what the data represents and how it should be used.

Key Skills:

  • Strong domain expertise in HR and customer data processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday data (no training ramp provided).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data querying concepts.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (S3 required; ECS/EKS and AWS SDK are a plus).
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus, but not a primary focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (American English).

  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate HR and customer data into actionable insights.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from:

o Workday HR system

o Customer Central

o Customer Data Warehouse
