Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized insights in CSS (Customer/1), service order, and billing.
  • Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
  • Work closely with business analysts, business team, and project managers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security policies.
  • Assist with project documentation and training materials.
  • Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of customer-specific business environments and service level agreements.
  • Identify and resolve customer problems using defined procedures and document troubleshooting efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Billing SME/Designer in Syracuse, NY.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Expert Knowledge: Provide specialized insights in CSS (Customer/1), service order and Billing
* Application Development: Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, business team and project managers to understand requirements and implement solutions
* Data Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security policies
* Documentation: Assist with project documentation and training materials
* Liaison: Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution
* Knowledge Maintenance: Developing and maintaining an understanding of customer-specific business environments and service level agreements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
