The Role
As Creative Producer, you'll lead the development and delivery of social-first video content from initial brief through to final edit.
You'll work closely with our Executive Producer, freelancers and contributors to ensure every piece of content is creatively strong, strategically effective and delivered to a high standard.
You'll balance creative thinking with practical production, translating political ideas into engaging digital content while managing shoots, reviewing edits and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling concepts and treatments for social-first video content from concise creative briefs.
- Write clear, engaging copy and scripts on tight deadlines.
- Produce shoots across the UK, including sourcing locations, coordinating logistics and supporting talent throughout production.
- Work confidently with high-profile contributors, creating a calm, professional environment during time-sensitive shoots.
- Liaise with security teams and venue contacts to ensure productions are safe and well organised.
- Understand the capabilities and limitations of production equipment, videography and post-production workflows, enabling realistic creative planning.
- Collaborate with editors to shape engaging final films, providing clear, constructive creative feedback throughout the edit process.
- Translate complex political issues into accessible, nuanced and impactful storytelling.
- Respond quickly to feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining editorial integrity and creative quality.
- Work alongside the Executive Producer to brief, coordinate and manage freelance crew and creative talent.
- Proactively identify risks, solve problems and keep productions running smoothly.
About You
You'll be an experienced producer with strong editorial instincts and a passion for creating digital content that makes an impact.
You'll also bring: Experience producing social-first video content for digital platforms.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong creative judgement and an instinct for what performs on social media.
Outstanding organisational and project management skills.
Confidence working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
The ability to build trust quickly with contributors, clients and collaborators.
An understanding of UK politics and political communications, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and fairly.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders and balancing competing priorities.
A collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
A proactive mindset, taking ownership of challenges and finding solutions independently.
