Summary: The CPQ Salesforce Product Manager serves as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners, focusing on the configuration and administration of Salesforce CPQ, Billing, and related applications. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, leading Salesforce NetSuite integrations, and providing in-depth support for Salesforce applications. The position requires a strong understanding of the Quote-to-Cash lifecycle and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition workflows.
- Drive configuration and administration of Salesforce CPQ, Billing, and related applications.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers to define and validate system enhancements and technical solutions.
- Lead and support Salesforce NetSuite integrations, including data flow mapping, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Respond to technical and functional queries related to Salesforce Billing, CPQ, and ERP integrations.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support end users during rollout.
- Provide in-depth support for Salesforce applications, including tool configuration, access management, and application behavior.
- Maintain clear documentation of business processes, system configurations, and data flows.
- Participate in ongoing optimization and enhancements of QTC systems and workflows.
Key Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Technical Program Management, or a related role.
- Strong experience working in Salesforce CPQ and Billing environments.
- Proven understanding of Quote-to-Cash (QTC) lifecycle: Lead-to-Opportunity, Quoting, CPQ, Contract Management, Order Management, Billing, and Revenue Recognition (ASC 606).
- Experience with Salesforce NetSuite integration and troubleshooting data synchronization issues.
- Experience working in a 60% business / 40% technical role, with a balance of stakeholder engagement and hands-on configuration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration: objects, page layouts, workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, and reports.
- Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and documentation.
