Summary: The Corporate Paralegal role involves providing essential support in company secretarial and corporate governance matters within a fully remote legal delivery team. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining statutory records, preparing filings, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with company secretarial and corporate governance matters.
  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure accurate record-keeping using company secretarial software.
  • Prepare and file documents at Companies House, including annual confirmation statements, director changes, share allotments, and other statutory filings.
  • Assist in drafting board and shareholder resolutions and minutes.
  • Monitor and support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Companies Act.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Support ad hoc projects and internal process improvements relating to company secretarial matters.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a company secretarial or corporate paralegal role, ideally within a professional services, corporate, or in-house environment.
  • Sound knowledge of UK company law and Companies House filing requirements.
  • Familiarity with company secretarial systems and online filing platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
