Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys and deal teams in all stages of M&A transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and post-closing activities
  • Review, organize, and manage sensitive corporate and financial documents, ensuring strict compliance with Personally Identifiable Information (PII) regulations
  • Oversee secure handling, redaction, and transfer of PII and other confidential data throughout deal processes
  • Assist in drafting, filing, and maintaining compliance documentation and regulatory submissions as required
  • Conduct PII compliance checks, identify risks, and implement process improvements to enhance data privacy
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties, clearly communicating updates, risks, and requirements both in writing and verbally
  • Maintain meticulous records, manage checklists, and track key transaction milestones to ensure operational efficiency

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with PII compliance in a corporate or M&A legal setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling and protecting sensitive and proprietary documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Mergers & Acquisitions processes, terminology, and best practices
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks governing data privacy and compliance
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial documents and diligence materials
