Summary: The role of Coronial / Inquest Lawyer involves managing coronial work and advocacy for an NHS Trust in the Midlands on a 6-month interim contract. The position requires a UK qualified lawyer with experience in coronial processes, preferably within another NHS Trust. Although primarily remote, attendance at some meetings in the Midlands is necessary. The role is set to start as soon as possible.

Coronial / Inquest Lawyer - Remote - 6 month contract
NHS Trust in the Midlands is looking to recruit an interim Head of Legal, initially for a 6 month contract (may be extended). You will work closely with the Trust and the wider Legal Services Team in managing the coronial work including advocacy. You must be a UK qualified Lawyer - Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive and will have a strong background in managing coronial processes, ideally for another NHS Trust. Although this is a remote role - you should be able to attend some meetings in the Midlands offices when required.
