Summary: The Copado Source Format Release Manager is a senior role focused on leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with client stakeholders to lead discovery sessions, gather detailed CI/CD requirements, assess current-state DevOps maturity, and define scalable Copado architecture.
  • Design and execute the implementation of Copado Source Format repositories, ensuring optimal modularization, compliance with Salesforce DX, and alignment with multi-team branching models.
  • Establish and enforce enterprise DevOps best practices, including version control strategies, code review processes, automated validations, and release governance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact issues across the CI/CD landscape, including pipeline failures, merge conflicts, metadata inconsistencies, and deployment bottlenecks.
  • Mentor development teams and junior DevOps engineers on Copado Source Format usage, branching discipline, and release readiness.
