Control Engineer/PLC Programmer

Summary: The Control Engineer/PLC Programmer will provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for customers, both on-site and remotely. The role involves writing PLC code for semi-complex systems and managing semi-complex projects throughout their lifecycle. Additionally, the engineer will assist in material specification and contribute to productivity improvements and customer satisfaction. This position requires direct interaction with customers and the ability to handle complex technical exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidates will help customers troubleshoot and resolve issues. They will provide technical support to the triaging team on the same.
• Troubleshoot programming and electrical issues that arise on site or remotely.
• Interact directly with the customer on site or remotely.
• Write PLC code for semi-complex systems utilizing standard practices.
• Provides support in semi-complex material specification, schematic preparation, bill-of-materials development, and appropriate follow-up.
• Participates in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction.
• Independently run semi-complex projects through the project life cycle, including all design, documentation, and forecasting.
• Assist in complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.
