As the Test Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to define test scenarios, execute technical testing, create detailed test plans, and log results while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet acceptance criteria.

Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for ensuring software excellence in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

As such, we are looking for a Test Engineer with the following experience:

• Proficiency in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Playwright testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing user interfaces (UI).
• Ability to create, maintain, and take ownership of comprehensive test plans.
• Skilled in writing test scenarios and cases, logging defects, and producing detailed test reports.
• Expertise in defining, implementing, and maintaining a robust test suite.
• Experience conducting both automated and manual test execution.
• Capability to identify, assess, and report risks and issues to the Test Manager and Engineering Lead.

This Test Engineer role is initially a 4 months contract starting from January 2025 and is Inside IR35. The role is mostly remote with very occasional travel to the client site in Farnborough.
