Contract: Technical Business Analyst - Initial 6 months - Fully remote

Role Overview

In this role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements across OSS/BSS systems and business processes.

You will translate business needs into technical deliverables, support process improvements, and contribute to the successful delivery of transformation initiatives across the full project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for OSS/BSS initiatives.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories, process maps, and technical documentation.
• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, PMO, and third-party vendors throughout project delivery.
• Support solution design, testing, acceptance, and business change activities.
• Participate in vendor management, requirements validation, and acceptance testing.
• Contribute to cloud migration, digital transformation, and regulatory change initiatives.
• Support Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with business process mapping (BPM/BPR) and requirements documentation.
• Experience working with OSS/BSS platforms within telecommunications.
• Strong hands-on skills with Salesforce, MuleSoft (or a different API integration layer), and API-led integrations.
• Understanding of Open APIs, cloud migration, and digital transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of Ofcom regulations and GDPR within telecoms environments.
• Experience supporting stakeholder workshops, change management, and vendor engagement.
• SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation is desirable.

Essential Experience

• 5+ years in a Telco environment (Recency is key)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• OSS & BSS platform experience is essential

• Rate: £500/day
• IR35 determination: Outside of IR35
