Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze client contracts (including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, data processing agreements) across UK and US clients to identify potential legal, financial, and operational risks.
  • Ensure contract terms comply with company policies, UK and US legal frameworks, and relevant regulations, including GDPR and US data privacy laws.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (legal, commercial, research, operations, data protection teams) across the UK and US to gather input and align on contractual positions.
  • Negotiate terms directly with clients or their legal representatives to reach mutually acceptable agreements.
  • Draft amendments, addenda, or redlines to client contracts as required.
  • Maintain and update contract templates and standard clauses that reflect the company’s multi-jurisdictional presence.
  • Support the development of internal processes and tools for efficient contract management.
  • Maintain a centralized contract repository and tracking system.
  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes in both the UK and US that may affect contractual obligations.

My client is the rapidly growing is a global market research company with expanding operation who have a very large global corporate client base. They seek a reliable, self-motivated individual to work a Contract Review Specialist who has an excellent understanding of reviewing, negotiating, and advising on client contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards, internal policies, and industry best practices across both regions. The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in UK contract law, preferably an understanding of US contractual and data protection considerations, and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes. Ideally suited to an experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in cutting-edge solutions and support who is an excellent customer facing communicator. Desirable Experience working in or with a market research or data-driven agency. Previous in-house legal or contract management experience in a company with international operations. Familiarity with cross-border data transfer mechanisms (e.g. SCCs, UK IDTA, US Privacy Shield alternatives). Legal qualification (e.g. LLB, LPC, CILEX) or equivalent experience.
