Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and support COBOL/CICS/JCL applications.
- Work with DB2, VSAM, MQ and online/batch processing.
- Support Life Insurance policy administration, underwriting, billing, claims, and policy servicing applications.
- Analyze requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver reliable technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile, code reviews, testing, and application releases.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of Mainframe Development experience
- Strong COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and MQ
- Strong Life Insurance domain experience is mandatory
- Experience with Policy Administration, New Business, Underwriting, Premium/Billing, Claims, and Policy Servicing
- Strong production support and troubleshooting experience
- Good communication and Agile/SDLC experience
