Summary: The role of Contract Databricks Platform Engineer involves supporting the deployment and configuration of a Databricks platform for a major finance client within a well-established UK-based Data & AI consultancy. This fully remote position requires candidates to be based in the UK with the right to work unrestricted. The engineer will implement infrastructure as code and manage CI/CD pipelines while ensuring Azure security practices are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the deployment and configuration of Databricks with Unity Catalog.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Ensure robust Azure security and cost management practices.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure smooth platform adoption.
