iO Associates are proud to be partnering with a UK government department on an exciting 2-year digital transformation programme. We're now looking to onboard a Junior Test Engineer who are passionate about quality assurance and eager to grow their careers within Agile, user-centred delivery teams.

Location: Fully Remote

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Length: 24 months (with potential extension)

Day Rate: £300 to £350 (Inside IR35)

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing, ideally within Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Basic understanding or exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Willingness to learn automated testing tools (e.g. Cypress, Selenium, etc.)
  • Familiar with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Enthusiastic about learning GDS principles and user-centred design
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
