Summary: The Content Developer (L&D) role involves creating and managing high-quality learning materials for the banking and insurance sectors. The position requires collaboration with subject matter experts to transform technical content into engaging learning experiences. The developer will also be responsible for assessment development and ensuring content quality and alignment with learning objectives. This is a remote position with a focus on instructional design and curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop learning materials across banking and insurance modules
  • Build delivery-ready slide decks from course outlines and SME input
  • Create facilitator notes, learner instructions, and supporting resources
  • Develop case studies, tools, and practical exercises aligned with learning objectives
  • Write 20–25 multiple-choice questions per module, either from scratch or by adapting existing question banks
  • Ensure assessments are clear, appropriately challenging, and aligned with learning outcomes
  • Incorporate client feedback and finalise assessments following review cycles
  • Manage content review cycles with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Maintain version control and documentation across all materials
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with objectives
  • Deliver materials on time to meet programme milestones

Content Developer (L&D) Location: Remote Day Rate: £600 3 days per week (5 months) We are looking for an experienced Learning Content Designer / Content Developer to join a team and support the delivery of a high-impact learning programme within the banking and insurance sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both hands-on content creation and managing content workstreams, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality learning materials for professional audiences. You will play a key role in transforming technical expertise into engaging, structured learning experiences that meet both client expectations and professional learning standards.
