Compensation: $15 - $18 per hour based on location, experience, responsibilities, and performance.

Role Overview: We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role serves as a critical firewall against misinformation. As a Content Accuracy Auditor, your primary mission is to verify the factual integrity of AI-generated text. You will rigorously investigate claims, cross-reference data with reliable sources, and correct "hallucinations" to ensure the model provides trustworthy, evidence-based information to users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct rigorous fact-checking of AI-generated responses, verifying names, dates, scientific facts, and historical events against authoritative sources.
• Audit random samples of model output to calculate accuracy rates and identify specific topics where the AI struggles (e.g., current events vs. historical data).
• Rewrite inaccurate or misleading content to reflect the truth, ensuring that corrections are supported by credible citations where required.
• Distinguish between different types of inaccuracies, such as outdated information, logical contradictions, or complete fabrications ("hallucinations").
• Collaborate on maintaining a database of "trusted sources" and guidelines for how the AI should handle disputed or uncertain facts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fact-checking, journalism, research, or library sciences.
• Exceptional research skills, with the ability to navigate academic databases, news archives, and technical documentation to verify obscure facts.
• A healthy level of skepticism and the critical thinking skills to evaluate the credibility of source material.
• Meticulous attention to detail, specifically regarding numbers, spelling of proper nouns, and chronological sequences.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.

Compensation and Benefits:

Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).

Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
