Summary: The role of Part-Time Consultant Manager involves overseeing and supporting OPT/CPT candidates in Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Electrical Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with a bench of OPT/CPT engineering consultants.
- Ensure all legal documentation, including work authorization (I-20, EAD), is properly collected and tracked.
- Monitor consultants training and placement statuses to ensure USCIS compliance and complete i983 form.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on bi-weekly status calls and training needs.
- Document bi-weekly calls with minutes or recording.
- Conduct yearly appraisals.
- Assist in identifying technical training needs and connecting consultants with training resources (CAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience working with international students or managing OPT/CPT candidates preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering domains (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of immigration and OPT/CPT compliance requirements.
- Exposure to engineering software and tools is a plus.
