The firm will provide professional indemnity insurance cover and access to legal software, research and closed Ai platforms and case management systems.
Admin support with onboarding, post-exchange and post-completion work is also provided.
Although we will work remotely, I am looking to build a collegiate, supportive team.
Role Description
This is a remote role for Consultant Conveyancers who have or who can build a client base.
The role involves managing your own caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters from instruction to completion.
Day-to-day tasks include drafting and reviewing contracts and other transactional documents, conducting title investigations and due diligence, liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other parties, and ensuring all legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met.
Consultant Conveyancers will provide clear, timely advice, maintain accurate file management and records, and support the team’s standards of client care and professional ethics.
The role also includes using digital tools for remote collaboration, contributing to best practices, and coordinating with partners to deliver efficient and high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing, including title review, contract drafting, and handling transactions from instruction to completion.
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and use of conveyancing and case management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, client-focused advice and manage stakeholder relationships professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on a consultancy basis, manage competing deadlines, and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
- Sound understanding of relevant property law, regulatory and compliance requirements, and risk management in conveyancing
- Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical practice, aligned with the firm’s values of loyalty, collaboration, and legal excellence.
- Previous experience working as a conveyancer or consultant conveyancer at an established firm.
