Summary: The Integration Specialist (PLM) role involves supporting a large-scale digital transformation programme within a defence environment, focusing on the integration and deployment of PLM solutions, particularly Teamcenter Unified and/or Siemens Opcenter. The position requires collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure effective system integration and data flow across engineering and manufacturing functions. The role is largely remote with occasional on-site attendance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support system integration activities, including implementation, deployment, testing, and configuration of multiple PLM modules
- Manage component, data, and configuration management activities across the programme
- Configure and administer Teamcenter Unified and/or Opcenter environments in line with programme requirements
- Support digital transformation objectives, ensuring PLM solutions align with defence engineering and manufacturing standards
- Apply configuration management principles in accordance with DEF STAN 05-57, JSP 945, and EIA-649C
- Produce and maintain system documentation, user guides, and process documentation
- Deliver user training and knowledge transfer to engineering and operational teams
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as an Integration Specialist within complex engineering or defence programmes
- Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Unified (preferred) and/or Siemens Opcenter
- Solid understanding of PLM principles, best practice, and lifecycle management
- Proven system administration skills with a high level of attention to detail and a logical, structured mindset
- Good working knowledge of configuration management standards, particularly within regulated defence environments
- Experience developing user guides and delivering system training
- Ability to work autonomously in a largely remote delivery model
