Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to advanced research projects developing autonomous robotic systems.
- Engage in image processing tasks such as feature extraction, detection, segmentation, tracking, clustering, and scene understanding.
- Utilize Python and deep-learning frameworks to implement machine learning solutions.
- Demonstrate R&D capabilities through publications in top-tier conferences or journals.

Key Skills:

What we are looking for:
- Strong Academic & Technical Foundations - A degree in AI, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields, with a solid understanding of machine learning, neural networks, and core computational principles.
- Hands-on Expertise in Computer Vision - Proven experience in image processing tasks such as feature extraction, detection, segmentation, tracking, clustering, and scene understanding.
- Advanced ML Engineering Skills - Proficiency in Python and practical experience with at least one major deep-learning framework (TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch), along with familiarity with production-grade training/testing pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Applied Research Capability - An R&D mindset demonstrated through publications in top-tier conferences or journals in vision or robotics (e.g., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, RA-L)
- Domain-Specific Experience (Bonus) - Experience with drones, especially at high altitudes, and/or infrared imaging or other specialised sensing technologies that support real-world deployment of computer vision models.
