Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse AI model outputs to identify linguistic error patterns and quality issues
- Perform linguistic analysis on large multilingual datasets
- Develop annotation guidelines and evaluation frameworks for language AI systems
- Support research across machine translation, speech technologies and LLM-based translation
- Conduct linguistic research including typology, sociolinguistics and corpus analysis
- Collaborate closely with research scientists, engineers and language experts
Key Skills:
- Master's or PhD in Linguistics or a related field
- Strong theoretical grounding in syntax, morphology, sociolinguistics and language typology
- Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi or another major Indian language, with knowledge of Indo-Aryan or Dravidian languages
- Programming skills in Python and ability to work with data (SQL or similar)
- Exposure to Natural Language Processing or language AI systems
- Strong research communication and analytical skills
