Summary: The Senior Communications Manager role involves leading internal communications for a mid-sized organization during a period of significant change. Key Responsibilities:
- Write and deliver clear, engaging internal communications to support change and transformation activity across the group.
- Work closely with Project Teams to communicate project updates, timelines, and impacts to employees.
- Translate agreed project and change messages into plain-English communications that are easy to understand.
- Support the sequencing and timing of communications so messages land clearly and consistently.
- Help ensure internal communications across different projects feel joined-up and aligned.
- Adapt content for different audiences and tones of voice, following existing brand and messaging guidelines.
- Support the use of core messages and narratives, updating content as messaging evolves.
- Assist with the preparation of communications for different internal channels (e.g. emails, intranet updates, presentations).
- Liaise with marketing, brand, or PR teams when required to ensure alignment.
- Track feedback and questions from employees and support updates to communications as needed.
- Manage multiple pieces of work at the same time while meeting agreed deadlines.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in internal communications or a similar role.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Experience working with project teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
