Summary: The role of Commercial Manager involves overseeing commercial and contractual aspects of multiple EPC/EPCM contracts for a leading energy group, primarily working from home with occasional business travel. The position requires strong management of change processes, dispute resolution, and commercial strategy development. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with contractual provisions and maintain relationships with key contract partners. This role is classified as outside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of all commercial and contractual aspects of various construction projects.
- Providing supervision to ensure milestone payments are administered correctly and records are accurately maintained.
- Managing the dispute resolution process and supporting negotiation strategies.
- Advising on contractual issues and ensuring compliance with contractual provisions.
- Leading on significant commercial events and preparing compliant contractual notices.
- Maintaining relationships with key contract partners and managing commercial issues.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and establishing risk mitigation measures.
- Supporting the development of commercial strategy with an understanding of obligations under contracts.
- Establishing monitoring tools and preparing high-quality commercial reports.
