The Role
You’ll lead transformation initiatives across the commercial function, improving procurement and procure-to-pay processes while working closely with senior stakeholders.
You’ll also manage a small team, oversee risk and change activities, and help shape best practice across commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and commercial transformation initiatives
- Drive procure-to-pay process improvements
- Manage risk, change, and continuous improvement activities
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business
- Lead, coach, and develop a small specialist team
- Support supplier management, commercial governance, and contract compliance
- Produce reporting, performance metrics, and business insights
- Contribute to commercial strategy, audits, and process improvements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven track record delivering procurement or procure-to-pay transformation
- Strong experience in change management and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience leading teams and driving business improvement initiatives
Desirable
- Oracle Fusion experience
- Public Sector experience
- Active SC Clearance (preferred)
Contract Details
- Hybrid – Reading area (up to 3 days per week onsite)
- £61.57 – 63.57 per hour
- 12-month contract
