Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the commercial management of offshore energy projects
  • Reviewing and managing contractual obligations (including FIDIC)
  • Providing commercial support for project bidding, pricing, risk assessment and commercial strategy
  • Leading commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Managing variations, change orders and contractual claims
  • Supporting legal and commercial risk mitigation
  • Preparing budgets, cash flow forecasts and commercial reporting
  • Acting as a commercial interface between the UK and global HQ teams

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Contract Manager on offshore wind, offshore construction, or large-scale offshore fabrication packages / heavy engineering structures
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC and supplier-side contract frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commercial negotiations

A well-established international engineering & offshore energy group is seeking a UK-based Commercial & Contracts Manager to support bidding and project execution across offshore wind and energy projects. This is a senior contractor role (Outside IR35) with full remote working, offering flexibility and autonomy for an experienced commercial professional who can operate independently within a lean, globally distributed team.

The Role

You will provide senior commercial and contractual leadership across the full project life cycle, supporting both bidding and live project delivery.

  • Leading the commercial management of offshore energy projects
  • Reviewing and managing contractual obligations (including FIDIC)
  • Providing commercial support for project bidding, pricing, risk assessment and commercial strategy
  • Leading commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Managing variations, change orders and contractual claims

About You

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager / Contract Manager on:
