Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cognigy Developer to design, develop, and maintain conversational AI solutions using the Cognigy platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building chatbots and voicebots, integrating enterprise systems, and delivering scalable customer engagement solutions across multiple channels. Experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, NLP, and cloud technologies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI applications using Cognigy.AI.
- Build and maintain chatbots and voicebots for customer service and contact center solutions.
- Create and configure conversational flows, intents, entities, and custom nodes.
- Develop reusable components using CognigyScript and JavaScript.
- Integrate Cognigy with CRM, ERP, databases, and third-party applications through REST APIs and web services.
- Configure omnichannel integrations, including web chat, IVR, WhatsApp, SMS, and social media platforms.
- Monitor bot performance and optimize conversations using analytics and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Manage deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow security and governance standards.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in Cognigy development.
- Strong understanding of NLP, NLU, conversational AI, and chatbot architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Cognigy Flow Editor, Nodes, Endpoints, Extensions, and Snapshots.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CognigyScript, and Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and API integrations.
- Knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of contact center technologies and IVR solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Cognigy Developer Certification is preferred.
- Experience with NICE CXone, Genesys, Avaya, or other contact center platforms.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, Dialogflow, or RPA tools such as UiPath.
- Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prompt engineering and AI agent development.
- Knowledge of sentiment analysis and conversation analytics.
- Experience with multilingual chatbot implementations.
- Exposure to enterprise automation and customer experience platforms.
