Coding Instructor for kids

Role Description We are seeking a Coding Instructor for kids in a contract-based remote role. The instructor will be responsible for teaching coding concepts in an engaging and interactive manner, providing one-on-one or group instruction online, and planning age-appropriate lessons. They will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of young learners. Fostering curiosity and a passion for technology, the instructor will act as a mentor to inspire students to explore and excel in the digital world.

Qualifications Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Scratch and familiarity with child-focused teaching tools or platforms. Experience teaching or mentoring children, with the ability to make technical concepts engaging and accessible to young learners. Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and their parents. Understanding of online teaching methodologies and tools, including virtual classroom software. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred. Passion for technology and education, with a creative approach to teaching coding concepts. Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining organized schedules and timely class delivery.
