Summary: The Cloud Support Engineer role is a remote contract position focused on managing and optimizing complex client environments using AWS and Terraform. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and serverless
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform
- Monitor systems via CloudWatch and configure alerting
- Automate tasks using Python and Bash
- Enforce IAM and cloud security best practices
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain runbooks and architecture documentation
- Troubleshoot network and security incidents
- Review setups for performance and cost efficiency
- Support disaster recovery and backup planning
Key Skills:
- 4–5+ years AWS operations experience
- Expert Terraform experience
- Strong Python and Bash scripting skills
