Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to enhance and protect Microsoft Azure cloud architectures for clients in Mexico. The role involves assessing cloud security postures, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong client-facing skills and extensive experience with Azure security tools. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and strengthen client cloud security posture
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies
- Drive security assessments, architecture reviews, and implementation plans
- Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and industry best practices
Key Skills:
- 5+ years in cloud security (Microsoft Azure)
- Hands-on with Azure Defender, Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure AD (Entra ID), PIM, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to explain complex security concepts clearly
- Familiarity with Microsoft Security Assessments (WARA, Microsoft SAF)
- Knowledge of incident response planning and governance
- Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, ITIL Foundation

What We re Looking For:
