Cloud Security Engineer

Introduction

The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the security of cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. They will work collaboratively with IT teams to implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security measures in Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments
• Manage security operations, including incident response and escalation procedures
• Utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to enhance security operations
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement RBAC and SSO solutions
• Automate security processes using tools such as Windows PowerShell
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats

Required Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Defender and Sentinel
• Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) techniques
• Understanding of RBAC and SSO implementations
• Proficiency in Windows PowerShell for automation
• Strong background in security operations and incident response

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified Professional certifications in Azure and security
• Experience with AI-enabled security workflows
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security features
